The volume is the third part of the corpus of unpublished –up to present- Neolithic figurines (surface finds) of Thessaly. It includes 186 figurines belonging to the private collection of A. Bastis, citizen of Volos, which have been donated by their owner to the local museum since 1992.
This volume comprises a detailed study of burial habits in Greece, Anatolia (Asia Minor) and Cyprus during the Neolithic, based on the existing data on the subject.
